Oriola’s sustainability work is based on a stakeholder materiality assessment, conducted in 2018 to ensure that our sustainability programme focuses on material topics. The materiality assessment included a sustainability stakeholder questionnaire with our key stakeholders (customers, including pharmacy consumers in Sweden, personnel, investors and other business partners). We received more than 460 replies through the questionnaire and supplemented the results with interviews with selected investors and customers.
As a result, we identified 13 material topics for our stakeholders. Based on this analysis, we defined our sustainability programme, including sustainability themes and long-term goals. In the materiality matrix below, the topics are presented based on their importance to our stakeholders and significance of our impact. The vertical axis shows influence on the assessment and decisions of stakeholders and the horizontal axis significance of economic, environmental and social impacts of Oriola.
